When a group shares a special interest, it’s even more interesting to cruise together because, without the pressures of daily life, the common bonds are enhanced...Here are two examples of successful theme cruises.
CHOCOLATE FANTASY CRUISES
Chocolate Fantasy Cruises Special interest cruises were marketed to subscribers of Chocolatier Magazine and to chocolate aficionados in the general marketplace by Landry & Kling via press releases, advertising, and interviews with radio and newspaper columnists.

Landry & Kling planned and operated 6 Chocolate Fantasy Cruises aboard Queen Elizabeth 2 sponsored by Chocolatier Magazine and over a dozen fine chocolate companies. The programs featured a whole schedule of chocolate-themed events such as chocolate dessert making, chocolate history lectures, special tastings and more.
SCOTTISH CEILIDH CRUISES
Special interest cruises were marketed through Scottish clan publications nationwide, at Scottish Highland Games, and through the fans of the Scottish performers featured on the cruises. Landry & Kling provided a variety of Scottish-themed entertainment on these cruises including Scottish country dancing and instructors, musicians, singers, story tellers, and whiskey tastings courtesy of Cutty Sark Scotts Whisky, sponsor of the series of 3 cruises to the Caribbean, Canada and the Maritime Provinces, and Bermuda.. Group size ranged from 100 to -250, all attired in their finest Scottish dress.
